In short. Minglea Ltd. is the controller of your personal data. We never use precise location or contact lists. Analytics, personalization, cookies and third-party SDKs are off unless you turn them on, and you can access, export, correct, restrict, object to and delete your data yourself from Privacy Center in the app.

This policy explains how Minglea Ltd. (the controller) processes your personal data under the GDPR.

Data we process and why

  • Account and access — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: contract. Retained for the life of the account plus 6 months.
  • Safety and moderation — to detect and act on harmful content. Legal basis: legal obligation and legitimate interest. Retained 18 months, longer under a legal hold.
  • Matching and discovery — to suggest people and content from your interests and languages. Legal basis: contract; personalization relies on your consent. We never use precise location or contact lists.
  • Messaging — to deliver and protect your conversations. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interest.
  • Payments — to process one-time coin purchases via the app store. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation. Tax records retained 10 years.
  • Age assurance — to keep Minglea 18+. Legal basis: legal obligation. Raw verification media is deleted within 30 days; only the outcome is kept.

Recipients and transfers

We use hosting, moderation, age-assurance, and accounting processors. Where data leaves the EEA we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses with additional technical safeguards.

Your rights

You can access, export, correct, restrict, object to, and delete your data from Privacy Center → Your data rights. We answer within one month and tell you if we need an extension and why. You may complain to your supervisory authority.

Analytics, personalization, cookies, and third-party SDKs are optional and separate from account creation. You may withdraw consent at any time without losing the core service.

Cookie & Tracking Notice

Minglea is a mobile app and does not use browser cookies for its core features. We describe here the equivalent on-device storage and SDK behaviour.

Strictly necessary storage

We store your session token, interface language, and translation preference on your device. This is required to run the service and does not rely on consent.

Optional analytics and measurement

If you enable Analytics, we collect aggregated usage events to understand which features work. If you enable Cookies and SDK tracking or Third-party SDKs, partner SDKs may collect identifiers for measurement.

Your control

All optional categories are off unless you turn them on. You can change them any time in Privacy Center → Consent and tracking choices, and your consent history is recorded there.
